What we collect, why we collect it, who it reaches and what you can ask us to do with it.
AA Traders is a consumer-brands group headquartered in Karachi, Pakistan, with a commercial office in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. We own and operate consumer brands including The Hair Factory, Skinly and Muicin, and we build and run COD Control, the operations platform described on our Technology page.
In this policy, “we”, “us” and “AA Traders” mean AA Traders. “You” means a visitor to this website, a customer of one of our brands, or a merchant using COD Control.
For anything in this policy, write to info@aatraders.co.
This policy covers three different things, and it is worth keeping them apart:
| Context | What it means |
|---|---|
| This website | aatraders.co — the pages you are reading now. |
| Our brands | Orders placed on our own storefronts, where we are the business you bought from. |
| COD Control | Our operations platform. Where a merchant uses it, the merchant decides what is collected and why; we process that data on their instructions. |
If you fill in the form on our Contact page, we receive what you type into it: your name, email address, phone number if you give one, company name if you give one, the topic you select and your message. We use it to reply to you and for nothing else.
Our web host records standard server logs — IP address, the page requested, the time, and your browser's user-agent string — for security and to keep the site running.
This website runs no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts. We do not set advertising cookies here, we do not build a profile of you from your visit, and we do not sell or share anything you send us. See our Cookie Policy for the detail.
When you order from one of our brands, we collect what an order requires: your name, delivery address, phone number, email address if you give one, the items ordered and the payment or cash-on-delivery amount. We share your name, address and phone number with the courier carrying your parcel, because a parcel cannot be delivered without them. We keep order records for as long as we are required to for tax, accounting and dispute purposes.
COD Control is used by a merchant to run their own business. The merchant decides what data enters the platform and why; we provide the software and process that data on the merchant's instructions. Each merchant's data is isolated from every other merchant's at the database level, and access inside the merchant's own organisation is controlled by roles the merchant sets.
Where a merchant connects an advertising account — Meta, Google or TikTok — they authorise that connection themselves, through the platform's own authorisation flow. We then read, for that account only:
We use it for one purpose: to show that merchant the performance of their own advertising against the revenue their own orders actually collected, and to let them act on it. Specifically:
We do not sell or resell advertising-platform data. We do not share it between merchants or with any third party. We do not use it to train models, to build audiences for anyone else, or for any purpose other than managing that merchant's own advertising.
A merchant can disconnect an advertising account at any time from inside COD Control, or revoke our access from the advertising platform's own settings. When access is revoked we stop reading new data. Data already synced for that merchant is deleted on request, and otherwise within 90 days of the account being disconnected.
COD Control is hosted on Vercel and stores data in a managed PostgreSQL database. Beyond those, data reaches only the services a merchant has themselves connected — their storefront (Shopify, Daraz), their couriers (PostEx, M&P, Leopards), their advertising accounts and their own bank statements. We do not add third parties of our own.
You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to info@aatraders.co and we will respond within 30 days. If you are a customer of one of our brands, say which brand and give the order number — it is the fastest way for us to find you.
If your data is in COD Control because a merchant put it there, that merchant decides it: we will pass your request to them and support them in answering it.
Our websites and products are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes affecting merchants will also be notified inside COD Control.
